Last night we braved the crowds at the Italian Food Festa. The festivities (for us) included stuffed shells, meatballs, cannoli, pistachio gelato, and dark chocolate gelato. Yum! David also insisted we watch the bocce ball tournament and dance to the live music. Good thing he was with us or we wouldn't have done anything but eat. Greg also tried to play a little Italian trivia (see above). It was more packed than the Piazza del Duomo in summertime. But once you've been to Napoli, what's a little chaos? Our only regret was that we forgot to have David wear his Roma jersey! (And we owe an apology to Mary who had an entire bottle of ice cold water dumped on her head. David's fault. It was an accident. Really.)
As for my cravings? Now I have an even bigger problem. This morning I woke wanting a gyro and a homemade cannoli. Oh dear.
