A cautionary tale

Last week I was chatting for a few minutes with another preschool mom.  She has twins, a boy and a girl, in David's class.  Her daughter recently broke her wrist, and I mentioned that David had recently burnt his fingers on the lawnmower.

"Oh, that it explains it," she said.  Then she told me how for the last week or two her children have been playing with their toy lawnmowers a lot, and they always yell very dramatically to each other, "Be careful!  It's hot!  Don't touch it!  You'll burn your fingers!"

Go, David.  That was some effective communication on your part.
