Sunday evening we enjoyed our first ever family full-length feature film movie night. A friend mentioned that her son, who is the same age as David, enjoys the Herbie movies. So I added this to our Netflix queue, and it showed up this weekend. Movie night was a big success. David liked the car crashes and road races. To my surprise, Greg and I enjoyed the movie a lot too. We were laughing hysterically by the end! I'd seen this movie countless times when I was a kid, but I think I liked it even better as an adult. More than the movie, though, we all liked being together--especially Mary, who rolled around on the floor for two hours feeling like part of something important...our family!

Family movie night
