Fortune smiled on David. We decided that
Station Square, which is more or less a big mall on the waterfront, was a safe bet for dinner. David was unimpressed with the pizza (it was pretty gross--Greg and I had sandwiches), but he was overwhelmed with joy at the opportunity, for just $1, to ride around the mall in a little train. What a happy surprise! There was also a small train-themed play area, a perfect spot for David while Mary got her chance to eat. The highlight of the evening was the walk (a very long walk) back to car along the train tracks. David was thrilled just to see the train tracks...but then what should appear? A really big, really
real freight train! And then another one! It was very exciting to be so close as the trains rushed by. What we thought would be a lame trip to the mall turned out to be a very fun evening. Hooray for trains!
